Throw your sneakers in the washing machine. Remove the laces beforehand. Use the gentle cycle and warm water to get the sneakers looking new again.
2Hand wash your sneakers. If you're nervous about placing the sneakers in the washer, you can wash them by hand instead. Fill a sink with warm water and place the sneakers in it. Scrub at the sneakers with a soapy rag until all of the residue is removed.
3Use bleach on the laces. If the laces of your sneakers are white, throw them in the wash with bleach or a bleach alternative detergent. You can also hand wash them along with the sneakers.
4Allow your sneakers to dry naturally in a sunny spot.
5Apply a shoe whitener to white leather sneakers. A whitener purchased from a sneaker store can help remove scuff marks.
