How to Keep Dansko Clogs Looking Good

Dansko, which is Danish for "Denmark Shoe", is a company that produces a variety of comfortable shoes and is best known for the closed-back clog. Dansko shoes are known to be extremely comfortable, particularly for people who are on their feet for prolonged periods of time. There are many types of Dansko clogs. The most popular clog is made of oiled leather. While the owners of Dansko are Danish and American, the company is actually located in the United States. The shoe designs are inspired by shoes the founders of the company saw in Denmark.

Instructions

Remove scuffs in the surface of the oiled leather by rubbing them with your finger tips.

Dampen a clean cloth with warm water, then wring it out completely. Wipe away dirt and grime using the damp cloth.

Apply Dansko Beeswax Conditioner to a clean cloth and rub it into the oiled leather. This will increase the leather's water resistance. Buff off any excess conditioner with another clean cloth.

Remove dirt from the surface of your Dansko Nubuck Leather Clogs by wiping the leather with a clean cloth, dampened with warm water.

A suede brush is a stiff-bristled brush that fits in the palm of your hand.

Rub a Dansko Suede and Nubuck Bar into surface stains in the same way you would rub a bar of soap on your skin. Brush the nubuck with a suede brush to work in the soap, which should remove the surface stain.

Apply a protective coating to your Dansko Nubuck Leather Clogs, to protect them from water and stains, by spraying them with Dansko Suede and Nubuck Spray.

Remove surface dirt by buffing your Dansko Calfskin Leather Clogs with a dry, soft cloth.

Add a small amount of water to the cloth to dampen it and use the damp cloth to remove stubborn areas of dirt on your clogs.

Condition the leather by applying a small amount of Dansko Leather Cream to the calfskin leather and rubbing it in with a soft cloth. Wipe off any extra cream and allow the rest to be absorbed into the leather.
