How to Get Rid of Price Stickers Inside Shoes

While stickers have become a necessary aspect of pricing in retailers worldwide, they are notoriously difficult to remove. The residue that remains after the paper overlay of the sticker is pulled away sticks to skin, hair and other objects and can be extremely stubborn and resistant to removal. Fortunately there is a simple home remedy that will dissolve the sticky residue and remove the sticker quickly and effectively.

Instructions

Soak a piece of paper towel with eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil is a natural oil derived from the leaves of the eucalyptus tree. It is known for its dissolving capabilities and will not harm leather or any other shoe fabric.

Dab the price sticker with the eucalyptus soaked paper towel until it turns soft.

Lift the sticker away from the fabric on the inside of the shoe. It should slide away without resistance. If the sticker doesn't slide away easily, continue soaking the sticker with the eucalyptus oil until it does.

Wipe the inside of the shoe with the eucalyptus-soaked paper towel to remove any remaining sticky residue.

Soak a piece of paper towel with tap water.

Wipe the inside of the shoe with the wet paper towel to remove any eucalyptus oil.

Sit the shoe outside to dry and air out the eucalyptus oil smell.
