Shoe clips are like jewelry for your shoes. In a matter of seconds, they can transform your plain Mary Jane's to Good Golly Miss Mollie's! Because they attach to the shoe with a little spring clip (just like clip-on earrings), you can change them as often as you like. Shoe clips can be added to just about any shoe, from stilettos to flip flops.

Prepare and assemble embellishments before you glue them to the shoe clips. Simple clips can be made just by gluing silk flowers, bows or big fake gems directly to the clip. For silk flowers, cut off the plastic stem as close to the blossom as possible.
2Open the clip. Identify the portion of the finding that will be on the outside of the shoe where you will glue your decorations. It has holes in it for sewing on embellishments. The portion that goes inside the shoe has little prongs.
3Place the clip on a flat, heat-resistant surface, embellishment-side toward you. Apply a generous glob of hot glue to the face of the clip. The glue should cover the face of the clip and be at least 1/8-inch thick. Work quickly to position the embellishment object on the clip finding, as hot glue dries very quickly. Once in position, press the embellishment object firmly so some of the glue squishes through the holes on the clip. When cool to the touch, the glue is set.
