How to Make Low-Top Shoes Fit Long Pants

How to Make Low-Top Shoes Fit Long Pants

Low-top shoes provide a sleek look with long pants; you don't have the disadvantage of higher-top shoes creating bulk under the pants. The combination is versatile and fashionable for women and men alike. However, it is wise to make certain adjustments to your shoes-pants duo for added comfort and style before stepping out into the street.

Instructions

    1

Roll up the pants into a single cuff, just above top of your low-top shoes. This will ensure that your pants don't bunch and that you can show off your shoes. At the same time, the single cuff gives you lots of control over keeping your pants as long as you want them to be.

    2

Loosen the laces of your shoes if you don't want a cuff or can't make one on your pants. This is a great option for low-tops that you wear with skinny jeans. The skinny jeans will tuck neatly and comfortably inside of the loosely laced low-tops if necessary.

Only certain long pants can match these white low-top dress shoes.

Make sure that your low-top shoes fit the style of your long pants. If you are wearing slacks, don't wear cross-trainers, wear dress shoes. If you are wearing sweat pants, go for low-top sneakers. If you are wearing stretch pants, try out a nice pair of flats. Plain jeans can go with almost any kind of low-top shoes.
